It is not so much that we are flat out busy as that life at the shelter here is so constant and relentless in keeping up with all the animals. The baby bird season this spring has been particularly demanding. We have over 30 birds in care at the moment with most of them being babies we have had to raise. Most of them are feeding themselves now, thank the gods. I dont think we have ever been so full up with animals. At last count on the weekend we had 62 native animals in care. It is lucky we love them so much.
