We provide 24 hour rescue, treatment, care, rehabilitation and repatriation for a wide diversity of native wildlife. Our service to wildlife includes:
Our thriving orphanage raises young who have been lost or abandoned, usually as a result of the death of their parents on roads, by shootings, dog and cat attacks, caught in fences or by disasters. We cater for a wide diversity of babies and young ones including kangaroos, wombats, wallabies, possums, gliders, koalas, bats and a wide variety of birds.
We also play a key role in educating the community about living with wildlife. Many people are surprised to discover that koalas, for example, will come down and look for water during long dry spells and can be assisted by residents placing shallow pans of water for them to drink from (or sit in).
